The Cleveland Shananigan

This is a bog about the events that took place on the Saturday the 23 of July.
Samayra’s idea was to go to the Cleveland show on this day. Not a bad idea I though it would help me to enjoy my time out from college. So I agreed to meet her and Francis at midday in the bus station.
So I set my alarm clock for 9 in the morning thinking that I would be up in time. Big mistake I turned my alarm off at 9 and went back to sleep until 10:30. So when I eventually go up I had to get a shower and dressed before I left which I managed to do and also fit in breakfast (Spam and beans with toast). SO I set out for the bus station giving myself enough time to get there with about 5 minutes to spare.
SO when I get there is Francis stood like a lemon outside the toilets (I got there at 11:55). So we decide to talk about the amazing program that is family guy. We talk for about 15 minutes and realize that Samayra still has not turned up. We phone her to see where she is. So she tells us she will be about 2 minutes at 12:30 she finally decides to show up. So we talk for about 2 minutes and then phone Jemma. Jemma says that she will be about 45 minutes. So we decide to trail the town looking for somewhere to eat. Sam and Fran eventually decide to go to MacDonald’s. So we are sat in MacDonald’s and Jemma phones us so we all meet up in the centre of town.
We decide that walking to the Cleveland show would take a long time so we go to the bus station. We find the right stand (12) and wait for about 10 minutes (an eternity in the hellhole that is Middlesbrough’s bus station. When the bus arrives it leaves instantly (so quickly that we cannot get on it). So we go to stand 6 and wait another 10 minutes for a bus (Now it is 2:05)
We get the bus to James Cook Hospital and get dropped of at Stewarts Park (90p). We go to the Cleveland show it costs £5 to enter (that’s a lot). So we look around and talk to Antonio who looked really pleased to see us (NOT). He said that he had jumped the fence. This meeting is what Sam had wanted all day. The show itself was bad nothing for us to do it was more of a young kids and adults day out. We did look at the rabbits and also the chickens (there were some fucking big chickens I’ll tell thee). We wandered around aimlessly. After we had done this we went home on the bus (£1.50 due to paying the correct fare second time).
WHAT A FANTASTIC DAY OUT. Not. We could have done so much more for example go for a meal or to the cinema. I will never go to something that Sam organises last minute again. Not that it was boring it was nice to see them all but we just aimlessly wandered about which meant I felt as if I had to take charge (Yes me Mr. Indecisive as Chris calls me).
All in all not bad but could have been much better. Better planning and some idea of where we were going might have helped.
